Last updated: [Placeholder date]. This explains how Jupiter FD handles personal data collected through this website.
This policy explains what personal data Jupiter FD collects through this website, how it's used, and what rights you have over it. It applies to visitors to jupiterfd.co.uk and does not cover the wider data handling that takes place once someone becomes a client — that's covered separately as part of the engagement process.
Jupiter FD is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. [Placeholder: legal entity name and registered address, if applicable.]

When you use the contact form on this site, we collect the name, email address, and any message content you choose to submit. We don't use cookies for advertising or tracking, and this site does not currently run analytics software. [Placeholder: update this section if analytics, such as Google Analytics, is added later.]
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry — for example, to reply by email or arrange a call. We don't use it for marketing unless you separately opt in to that, and we don't sell or rent your data to third parties.
We process your data on the basis of consent (you choosing to submit the form) and legitimate interest (responding to a business enquiry you've initiated).
Enquiries submitted through the contact form are sent via Resend, a third-party email delivery service, to route the message to Jupiter FD's inbox. Resend processes the message content for the sole purpose of delivering that email and does not use it for any other purpose. No other third-party services currently receive data submitted through this site.
[Placeholder: confirm a retention period — for example, "Enquiry data is kept for X months if it doesn't lead to a client engagement, after which it's deleted."]
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, request a copy of it, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how it's processed. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above.
If you're unhappy with how your data has been handled and feel we haven't resolved it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
